As a duo, Tim Budde and Dave Clark formed the grass roots group… early last year, 2009. However the two’s reputation goes back to their childhood of salt marsh hoedowns and roaring Baptist hymns, which directly influence their songs today, concerning love and loss, joy and despair, life and death. Days when the family would sing praises for food on their plates, the Southern way. Two for tradition, Budde and Clark thus chose the band’s name, giving due respect to the old Georgian town.
